Water

Water has been used since the early times in landscapes and public areas. From graceful fountains to baths and everything in-between. We like to add the element of water to a garden space because it brings a calming factor. Imagine after a long hard day at work, coming home and listening to the water gurgling down the stream of a custom built water fall. Or the delicate splash of a rock bubbler. A rain curtain gently falling into a basin. This is the magic of water!

a wooden bench sitting next to a small pond filled with rocks and water lilies
This waterfeature was completely ripped out and doubled in size. We added another longer waterfall to maximize the sound of the water anywhere in the surrounding garden. Newly planted shrubs and perennials will soften up the rocks and add nature's balance.
a gazebo sits in the middle of a garden with rocks and plants around it
This custom made waterfall and pond is nestled in the heart of Amish country. 5 years later this waterfeature is looking more and more natural as we intended it to be. Plantings are supposed to make the client feel as though they live in the mountains next to a brisk mountain stream.
