all things hair

Adrienne Dara Stephenson/ Hair Education & Tutorials on Instagram: "Someone just asked me in my last post… “can you mix NB + M for gray blending?” The rule when it comes to gray blending is that NB should always be in your formula. WHY? Because the NB series is the true natural in Shades EQ. It has a Red/Violet reflect ( the perfect balance between warmth and cool ). Another way to view it is that the Red primary color in the NB series will act as a fill to FILL the missing pigment from the hair shaft and the Violet secondary will CONTROL the red from being too intensified in the way in which it deposits. So it is crucial that NB is in your formula when gray blending in order to lay a natural foundation but additionally to allow the red primary to do its job and fill the missing pigmen
