ALEX | DIY, Upcycling & Style on Instagram: "IKEA PAX HACK - THE DRAWER TUTORIAL 🙌🏼 my most asked question of this hack has been for the drawers. Once you have finished framing all of the front of the cabinets with either mdf or your 36mm pine batons (if two units joining) then you can measure to work out what’s needed for your drawers. You want to measure the width & height of the space from your bottom piece of MDF up to the bottom of the middle shelf. Once you have this number, you want to subtract the allowance you have to leave for between the drawers & the central baton. I used 2mm tile spacers so had to subtract 10mm from my height. After you’ve done this you will then divide by 4 to get the height of the individual drawer fronts. Example, height between middle shelf and bottom
