How I Redid My Stair Railing for Only $50!

I had one of those ugly builder grade would railings. The railing itself was real oak which I decided to keep but the spindle had to go. To replace the banister would have cost $150, so I decided to just refinish it. In my previous post, I refinished the top part of the railing by sanding it down, removing the old nails, bleaching and sealing with polyurethane... well I did the same thing here!
