My Tops (currently own)

I really prefer sleeveless tops that I can wear to work under a blazer or cardigan, or out at night with jeans. I find long-sleeved shirts uncomfortable - not for a fashion reason, just comfort - and don't always like short sleeves either, if they are too restrictive under the arms. I do really like cap sleeves! I like lace and silk a lot, and jewel tone colors. I could use some more color variety.

Sheer navy shirt w/ ruffles. This is one of my favorites - I like the loose, easy cap-style sleeves and how it falls whether tucked in or out.

Purple top. V-neck has material shaped like flowers and ruffles which I'm covering (sorry). Like this one but as you can see I have a lot of purple (and navy) tops.

Red silk top with orange, pink and yellow tones. I love the fit, colors, and style.

Yellow sleeveless shirt w/ lace overlay. I love how comfortable and easy this shirt is.

Purple stretchy top. I really like the combination of the sleeveless cut with the rouging on the shoulders that almost act like cap sleeves.

Purple sleeveless top. Comfortable and easy.

Brown stretchy shirt. The material itself is a little thick, almost like a turtleneck, but I like how stretchy it is (makes the arms ok!) and the length. I don't have a lot of brown-themed skirts/pants though, so I only wear it with this skirt, and very rarely.

White shirt with lace overlay. This is one of my favorite shirts - I like the sleeves because they're just lace, the lining is sleeveless.

Black boatneck short-sleeved top. This is one of my favorite shirts, although it's beginning to get a bit worn. It's very soft and comfortable, and I like the cap sleeves (there is almost no material under the arms, and what is there is very soft and non-restrictive). Banana Republic.

Blue crepe top w/ pink and yellow and ruffles. This is my favorite shirt. I love the colors, ruffles, and cape-style "sleeves". Banana Republic.

Black collared short sleeve shirt, Zara. This shirt never gaps open in between buttons and I really like the cap sleeves. Still, I never wear it with anything but this skirt - not sure why!

Navy short-sleeved top. I don't like this top when not tucked in - it's sort of formless - but like the way it drapes when tucked in to high waisted skirt or pants. The sleeves are loose enough that I don't mind them.

Coral sleeveless silk top. I don't always love button-downs but this is one of my favorite shirts. I like the style - how wide the shoulders are and the breast pocket - plus the color and fit.

Blue silk sleeveless top. This is one of my favorites - I really like everything about it.

Yellow silk top. I really like the golden color and material, which is why I keep it even though I'm not wild about the cut or fit - just seems a little shapeless and the V-neck seems unfinished. I'd be happy to replace it with a better fit.
