So last month I was involved in the most beautiful photo shoot in this stunning venue called The Gardens. I made two new wedding dress designs especially for the shoot. I made an ivory lace dress with an illusion back and blue dip dye skirt. This is by far my favourite design and I am so pleased to finally share the photographs. I had created the dress for a previous shoot in 2014 but sustainability in fashion runs deep in my philosophy and so it was the perfect canvas for my next project. Usually, only natural fibers (silk, cotton, linen etc) can be dyed so the mixed fibers of this dress (silk dupion and polyester tulle) presented something of a challenge.
