Sheep Lake Trail is one of the two high-country trailheads near Brooklyn Lake Campground. This adventure records a short hike up to the first major lake on this trail, North Twin Lakes. The Twin Lakes in Mammoth are the most scenic. I wasn't sure what to expect driving up to the fantastic view of Twin Lakes with the waterfalls. I was a bit too early as the sun took it's time rising. But before long the sunlight illuminated the range in the background along with Mammoth Mountain as moved down the forest lighting up one scene at a time. I'll definitely be back here again.
