The following essay seeks to explore how landowner Dalits became landless/lost agricultural bonded labourers, how they got back the land and how Christian missionaries facilitated the return of land to Dalits.

It uncovers the involvement of the German military, Nachrichtenstelle für den Orient (NfO) and the Hindu revolutionaries in causing unrest in India to derail the economy and tarnish the image of the British Government. It exposes the joining forces of diametrically opposite ideologies, the German Christian Government, German Christian missionary in NfO and the Indian Hindu revolutionaries, on a common platform. Likewise, it uncovers the manipulation of the selfsame Scripture by the doctrinally similar Christian denominations to whip up their clashing nationalistic passions. Further, this research narrates the bitter experiences of separated missionary spouses, scattered family members, the plight of children, deportation, gruelling voyages, seasickness, experiences of missionaries as Prisoners of War (POW), etc. The following three methods were combined for this research: a World War I historiographical approach, a collective biographical approach, and an entanglement approach

The likely date for his arrival in the Indus River Valley was 40 AD. Gondophares, whom Thomas evangelized, was the king of a Hellenistic Indo-Parthian kingdom there in what is now Pakistan and westernmost India, reigning from 19-46 AD. Thomas was probably in South India no later than 52 AD. Some of the later traditions of the fourth century Thomas of Cana, a Syrian or Persian missionary to the Malabar Coast, have likely been conflated with the older traditions about the apostle, but the evidence for Thomas serving as a missionary in India is every bit as strong (and perhaps stronger) than the evidence that Peter went to Rome. Communities of "Thomas Christians" remain among the oldest continuous Christian communities in the world.

The Leipzig Evangelical Lutheran Mission (LELM) was a major mission in Pandur near Chennai. Pandur is intimately associated with Rev Johannes Kabis, who came to India in 1877. PAndur has been a thriving Christian centre for decades with a strong Christian congregation, Church and several institutions, these Christians are descendants of Dalits who embraced Christianity from a life of near slavery, poverty, illiteracy, oppression and indignity; conversion to Christianity transformed their lives. The purpose of this book is to elucidate the role of Leipzig missionaries in the social, economic, educational and spiritual life of Pandur Dalits.

My article is "Re-reding the life and work of Ecumenical Personalities: Charles H. Brenty, J.H. Oldham, and William Temple in the Present-day Context."
In my article, we can see the contribution of C. H. Brent, William Temple and J. H. Oldham to uniting Churches amid different doctrines and faith practices and their support for social reforms. We will also see how the ecumenical personalities raised their voice and contributed to their work and writing for racial justice and war. Black lives matter, and voices against racial discrimination we can hear and see everywhere. Still, these ecumenical personalities raised their voices against all these kinds of crimes long before this article will enable us to learn from them.

Immediately you might have a question How Martin Luther is related to COVID-19. During the time of Martin Luther, Black Death ravaged Europe and people did not know how to tackle it. Some believed that it was God’s judgement. Luther was asked to move out from the place but he stayed in his town and took care of the patients. Because his understanding of righteousness pursued him to do so. This chapter reveals the similarity between the Bubonic plague and COVID-19. It focuses on a Christian’s response to COVID-19 under the light of Martin Luther’s understanding of righteousness.

Tamil Evangelical Lutheran Dalits and Kallars found liberation and have made significant progress because of the Christian missionaries of the Church of the German and Swedish Mission. Both the German and Swedish Mission offered the Gospel of a new religion to not only the subaltern people but also the possibility of secular salvation. The history of Lutherans needs to be understood as a part of Christian subaltern history (Analysing the Indian mission history from the native perspective). My paper will mainly focus on Tamil Lutheran Dalit and Kallar Christians. In this paper, I propose to elucidate the role of German and Swedish Lutheran missionaries in the social, economic, educational, and spiritual life of Tamil Lutheran Dalits and Kallars. Due to the page limit, I am going to mainly focus on Swedish Mission and Kallar Lutheran Christians
