Here is the... | By The Flipped Piece | Here's an IKEA hack for you. Let's flip this hemnes shoe cupboard. I removed the hardware, cleaned the piece down, and saw it off the ledges just to modernize it a touch. Then I went ahead and cleaned up the sawdust, primed it and painted it in a gorgeous beige, and used my saw to create fake drawers. I then painted on top of that in a lovely black and distressed it with my sander. I sealed the whole thing with easy-peasy spray wax, dry brush to create some age, attached my new hardware, looked at my gorgeous new shoes, put them away in the shoe cupboard, decorated it just a touch, and now I have the perfect fake apothecary cabinet that looks nothing like a shoe cupboard. What do you guys think? I love it.

2.9M views · 71K reactions | EASY DIY Wooden Bench Build 😍🪵 | How to make the COOLEST wooden bench! *Please note that products shown are from current and previous brand partnerships* ad - paid partnership | By The Flipped Piece | Let me show you how to build the coolest bench out of some wood. Go to the store and get eight-foot-long pieces of pine and five-foot-long pieces. Take those eight-foot-long pieces and you're going to cut them down into tons of 18-inch pieces and fourteen-inch pieces. Once you make the cuts, you're going to build this bench by alternating them and adding in a five-foot-long piece in between each. I use no more nails in my Ryobi nail gun to make sure it was nice and secure. Once it's built, use some body foam to fill in the cracks, sand it down smooth, and make sure you curve those edges for that Scandinavian vibe. Next, choose your favorite stain. I'm using Dixie Belle's Voodoo Stain and Al Natural and it gives the best bleach wood effect. Then, I sealed it in Dixie Belle Gatorhide. Put it in front of my DIY panel wall and this is the final result. I love this bench. It cost me about 60 pounds total. What do you guys think?
1.2M views · 44K reactions | AMAZING Dresser Makeover using scrap wood 😲 | AWESOME Dresser Makeover using Scrap Wood! *Please note that products shown are from current and previous brand partnerships* ad - paid partnership | By The Flipped Piece | I flipped these chested drawers with some scrap wood and let me show you how. I first marked and cut off the curved base 'cuz I wanted to be straight and the curved top. Once it was all nice and square, I cut up some scrap wood, fit it to the bottom, used my Ryobi nail gun to nail it in until the base looked like this. After that, I sanded the entire piece down, got out my spray gun, and I poured in Dixie Belle silk in the color cactus After that, I took some feet and I attached them to the bottom of the base that I created. Then, I got out more spare wood, cut them into these little cubes, and create out this really pretty overlay design. I glued it on, used some Dixie Belle mud to fill in the cracks, painted more in cactus, used some gel stain on the feet, and then I decorated it, and this is the final result. It is so cool. This is the original and that is the after.
8.6M views · 10K reactions | 30 Second Furniture Flip | 30 second video of a furniture flip | By Pretty Distressed | Goodwill Find was ridiculously low to the ground so I headed to the hardware store, got some lumber, and built a new base for this thing. I used a Craig Jig to drill some pocket holes and screwed the whole thing together. Then, I removed all that old hardware, gave it a good cleaning, filled my holes, and sanded them, primed it, and painted the whole thing with Dixie Belle's collard greens. Once it was dry, I added my new base and then sealed the whole thing with Big Mama's Butta in Orange Grove. This stuff smells so delicious and finished it off with some modern hardware. I can't believe this transformation. Follow me here for more furniture. Ups.
882K views · 10K reactions | Amazing Before & After Furniture Flip | Amazing Before & After Furniture Flip | By Salvaged by k. scott | This is the flip of a 1990s particle board and laminate dresser or buffet that's in need of a new look. It's already been painted in a bumpy brown latex that is peeling pretty badly so I started my makeover by sanding all of that paint away with some 100 grit sandpaper. I also filled in the old hardware holes with some quick wood epoxy filler because I'm going to be updating the hardware too and I'm going to need to drill new holes. Once I had all of my sanding out of the way, I applied two coats of a shellac-based primer to seal up this really porous particle board and give me a durable canvas. I like to use a roller with this primer because it's flammable and I can't use it in my electric sprayer. Once it was dry, I gave it a quick sand with some 400 grit sandpaper to smooth it out and I've had this crusty, old paint can around that I've been collecting leftover bits of white and beige paints in. So, I strained that through a sieve and loaded it into my Wagner Flexio sprayer. Just for the sake of speed on my first coat. Next I used a small foam roller to apply a purposely patchy layer of both a light and dark beige tone all over this piece. I wanted to create some dimension and movement with this to recreate the look of bone or shell inlay. I put the unit back together and started laying out some horizontal stripes with 3/ 4 inch painters tape. My inspiration for this look is a waterfall inlay buffet that's currently for sale on Anthropolo dot com and it's got some really beautiful neutral stripes. After about 45 minutes of fiddling with the tape, I was happy with my spacing and I used my foam roller again to seal down the tape with the same light beige paint and then I applied a coat of a light grey. I peeled back all of that tape to reveal this really eclectic look and then gave it a quick smoothing sand before I sealed it with some water-based polyurethane. To finish up this look, I installed these gorgeous champagne gold handles that I found on Etsy. I think this piece could benefit from some legs to get it up off the floor. So, I'll have to find something that will work for that. Leave me a comment and let me know what you think and make sure to follow me here for tons more furniture flipping inspiration.
