Leather Skins

English Bridle Leather: A completely finished and conditioned leather that is drum dyed and hot stuffed (saturated with waxes, oils and tallows). Skirting Leather: Similar to tooling leather, but is drum dyed in a variety of colors. Not hot stuffed, so used more for those looking to tool, mold and finish their leather. Carving/Tooling Leather: This unfinished leather molds and tools beautifully and will take on dye and oil.

Struck Through Leather
A leather is "struck through" when the dyes and colors penetrate completely through the leather and you can see them on the back "flesh" side too. You can see this exceptionally well here with the blue of the Ink Blue Cavalier Leather from Horween Leather. Get Leather: https://www.buckleguy.com/leather-working-supplies/

Korba Cow now in 4.5-5 oz!
Korba Cow is our most affordable leather per square foot. Similar to Wickett and Craig Carving Leather, this natural leather can be used for tooling, dying and any other project where you want a natural patina. The heavier weight gives you more options for bags, wallets, wet molds and anything else you want to make.
Rocado Shell Cordovan

Avancorpo Horsefront
Rocado Avancorpo is a natural veg-tan leather made from the front part of horse hides. Its key features are it is stretch-resistant and patinas well. It is undyed and available in a glazed or unglazed finish. It comes in 3.5oz and the cuts average 12-16 sq. ft.
Coasters in Bulk
Don't have one of these? You can now order bulk boxes of coasters. We supply 250 packs of coasters cut from Wickett & Craig English Bridle and Traditional Harness in Black, Dark Brown, and Tan. We hope these help you speed up your production without the heavy machinery.
Scrap Boxes
Laying out and organizing leather for our Scrap Leather Boxes. Leather scrap comes from the remnants leftover from our in-house leather cutting. It cannot be sold on its own because of the odd shapes, but is still the same quality. Pieces are big enough for projects like wallets, coasters, key fobs, and patches. Each box is different. Check out what's available from Wickett & Craig, Newbury Leathers, Horween and more.
Best yields for your dollar!
Sides of Korba Cow average 14 square feet and cost $95.
Korba Cow
Comparable to Wickett & Craig carving leather, Korba Cow is the Buckleguy house natural carving leather.

Gray Harness
Traditional Harness is one of our most popular leathers, known for its natural full grain look magnified in a glossy finish. We are now carrying it in Gray for sides, panels, and straps.

Leather Work Supplies | Hides, Skins, panels, Straps & More
Here at Buckleguy we sell primarily full-grain leather. Full grain means the grain - the top layer of the hide - has not been altered in any way such as being buffed, corrected, etc. While this means there will be more surface marks, it is worth it for that natural look and greater durability. Shop leather: https://www.buckleguy.com/leather-working-supplies/

Vegetable tan leathers. Veg tanning is an age-old technique of using natural ingredients from tree bark to tan the hides instead of chemicals. This results in a more natural-looking and eco-friendly leather. Shop leather: https://www.buckleguy.com/leather-working-supplies/
