Pair it with smoked salmon, slices of avocado or even sweet sliced tomatoes, slather with butter - easy breakfast is served! - 1 cup buttermilk - 2 eggs - 1/2 tsp baking soda - 1 tsp salt - 2 1/2 cups flour - 4 oz sharp cheddar cheese, grated - 1/2 tsp dry oregano - 1/2 tsp dry basil - 1 oz olive oil Mix buttermilk and eggs, add dried herbs, oil and salt, mix again until combined. Aff flour and baking soda and mix again. Finally, add shredded cheese and mix just until combined. The dough is going to be very sticky. Bake in a greased loaf pan at 350F for 50 minutes.
