Devil’s Head Lookout Trail✍️ This hike had been on our list for so long and we finally did it last May! Its such a great one to take out of town visitors and less than 1.5 hours from Denver. A shorter hike with epic views! The whole hike is relatively easy until the stairs of the lookout at the end. Need to know: -consider the altitude: the lookout sits at 9,748 ft elevation -typically open late May - September -open one hour before sunrise and one hour after sunset -overnight camping is not allowed -pack out everything you pack in -respect the environment by practicing the leave no trace principles -stay on trail -dogs
