This recipe first appeared in 1937 and was the house cocktail at the historic New Orleans restaurant of the same name. It’s a rye-forward cousin to the Vieux Carré and still maintains the delicate balance despite the addition of rye and absinthe. This is one you’ve got to try, cheers y’all.

Jumping on the pickle margarita bandwagon… c’mon in, we’ve got room 🥒 — SPICY PICKLE MARGARITA — 2 oz | 60 ml High Proof Tequila ¾ oz | 22.5 ml Lime Juice ½ oz | 15 ml Spicy Pickle Juice ¾ oz | 22.5 ml Agave Syrup Pickle + Arbol Chili (Garnish) — Add all ingredients to a shaking tin (except garnish). Shake with ice and strain over pebble or crushed ice. Garnish with pickle + pepper.

Finally revisiting Jäger… in Margarita form! Happy #NationalMargaritaDay, figured this would be a good time as any to make the Jägerita since its been making the rounds on the interwebs. Tbh, I didn’t think I was going to like this cocktail but it totally works when you treat @jagermeisterusa for what it is… an amaro/digestivo. What we made here is essentially an Amaro Sour, and a damn good one at that. Make it. Cheers y’all.
