Every year I read The Rainbow Fish (if I'm teaching primary) and do a writing/art project. They learn about being a good friend and sharing while I read the story and talk about it. Then we write sentences about what a good friend is and make a tear-art "rainbow fish" with a piece of foil for his shiny fin. My kids love the project and it's a great way to get them thinking and writing the first week back to school. :) Rainbow Fish Activities, Preschool Friendship, Friendship Week, Rainbow Fish Crafts, Bucket Fillers, The Rainbow Fish, Friendship Theme, Friendship Activities, Fish Activities
