These earrings are handmade. The fishhook finding (the part that actually goes in your ear) is hypoallergenic and free of nickel/lead. They would make the perfect gift for an entomologist or lepidopterist! All wings are ethically/sustainably sourced. This means the butterfly lived out its life and died naturally before the wings were used for these earrings. This particular butterfly lived at a local monarch butterfly farm. The crystal beads are made of green aventurine.
