Sink on one side of vanity

Unique spaces in a renovation are a favorite to design! The homeowner moved in with the bathroom nearly complete, just needed finishing touches and a way to address the vanity mirrors, as there is a window in the middle of the double sink vanity! For the master bathroom, I utilized several of the same elements that were used in the downstairs bathroom. The freestanding vanities from Ikea worked perfectly as did the wall color, floor and wall tile. The layout is quite a bit different but as for the design, I only switched out the accent tile and how it was applied. At our Greek Revival project we came up with this idea of building a wall in between the sink area and the tub area. It provided little nooks on each side of the tub which defined spaces for a makeup area on one side and linen storage on the other. I love working with rooms that just start as rectangles and become interesting, unique spaces."
