* perfect invisible hem *Julija Gobere | Sewing on Instagram: "One of my all time favourite techniques - 🙌 This is one very few techniques I prefer stitching by hand instead of on sewing machine, because it creates a *truly* invisible seam!🤫🤗  For this technique, note a few things: * press hem before stitching; * fold fabric like shown in the video - it makes a big difference! * make sure to take only one thread from main fabric; * stitches have to be quite loose and close to each other; * finish hem by giving it a good steam (keep iron above the hem, don’t press it down much). • Pellon EZ-Steam II Fusible Web  
(There are lots of different brands. This is just the one our local craft store had).   
• Pinking shears are ideal to help avoid fraying fabric (but scissors will do just fine too)  
• Cotton (non stretchy) piece of fabric  
• Iron  
• Stencil (I tend to always use an embroidery hoop)  
• Pen/Pencil
