This is Supertunia Vista Bubblegum. It's a classic. It's one of the very first Supertunia's that I ever tried and it's an amazing performer and I think one of the most widely available varieties out there. So, whether or not you're planting it in a container, a hanging basket, make sure it's a large hanging basket or in the ground, it's just going to do well. There are only 26 plants in this huge hedge right here. And we're only halfway through the season. I'm so glad we didn't plant more than just in the twenty-sixth. So, the center of one plant is right here and I think they're measuring about three feet across at this point but they're just always in such a beautiful state of bloom throughout the season. Never without color and always just such a bright spot. As far as care goes, they do prefer consistent water. We do have these on a drip system. Uh weekly water-soluble fertilizer is also very helpful when you've got plants that grow this big that quickly They do like to have consistent feed but you don't ever have to deadhead these like older varieties of petunias where you spend a bunch of time every week messing with their sticky blooms. Don't have to do that. These are self cleaning. They just look like this all the time.

804K views · 10K reactions | Tips on Feeding Your Annual Plants This Summer | Keep your plants blooming all summer long with a weekly application of water-soluble plant food. This is Laura's favorite fertilizer, and in this video,... | By Proven Winners | Want to show you what we use to fertilize our annuals with so that we end up with big productive plants that are full of color for the whole season. Annuals in general are heavy feeders. Uh so just like a professional athlete, they need to be properly fueled in order to perform to their full potential. So, we usually start off the season with a slow release. This is a continuous release plant food. It's heat activated. We add this into the top couple inches of soil right at planting and it last for several weeks like six to eight weeks. Go in mid season and reapply if you want to but usually after this we start in with our weekly regimen of a water soluble fertilizer right here and the reason why we like this one and I've tried a lot of fertilizer throughout the years none of them have the EDDHA peelated iron like this one does and what that does is helps keep the leaves of all of our plants super tunas and super bells in particular nice and deep green it's super easy to use well let me show you what this one looks like so like a little granule so we just measure this out or not we just sprinkle this into the soil at planting there is a little guide in the pamphlet on the back telling you how much to use based on your pot diameter and then this one is one tablespoon per gallon of water whoop comes with this little measuring thing so we just do one this is a three gallon watering can to of three. Let me fill this up with water quick. Usually, I like to add it to the can before I put the water in because while we're putting the water in, it self mixes and dissolves. And as it's mixing, you'll notice that sometimes it looks like kind of a reddish purple color and that's normal. That's the iron in the fertilizer talking. I kind of want it to look that way and then we just take it. See that color of that water right there? It's kind of purplish. That's good food right there for all these plants. Doesn't matter if it hits the foliage. Actually, think they take in some of the nutrients through their foliage too but we want most of it to end up down at soil level. Just like that. So, we just pick a day of the week. Thursdays happen to be the day for us and every single Thursday, we go through and we use the water soluble on all of our annuals and that keeps them just looking fresh and beautiful throughout the whole season.

Dana Carpenter | Houseplant care on Instagram: "If you water propagate your houseplants, I’m sure you’ve experienced a cutting falling out of place and maybe even submerging entirely. A ✨simple solution✨ that’s also really fun to make is an air dry clay flower frog. I was inspired by @woodlark making these for her flowers, and I immediately wanted to make one for my plant propagations. It’s also another way to repurpose these little glass jars from my favorite yogurt. Do you love easy DIYs for your plants? Save this to try! How to make them: * Roll clay out * Cut out a circle and use water to help smooth out edges with your fingers * Create the scalloped edge—this part is optional * Poke the holes— I used a large straw * Let it dry + seal with a waterproof glaze/varnish * Add plant
