Helpful measurements to save: - 4.5” between all the boxes, and from the box to the ceiling/ baseboards - The middle box should be about 2x as big as the side boxes - The height of the small boxes should be 32-38” off the floor (depending on ceiling and baseboard height) My ceilings are 9ft tall and the room is 140” wide. Paint and elbow grease produced a dramatically different aesthetic on my porch, and there was no dust, and no contractors to deal with. I cleaned them with TSP, rolled two coats of bonding primer, stenciled with flat sheen latex paint, and sealed with several coats of Varathane. That’s all there is to this process!
