Syrian-,Libanese-, Jordanian- ,Palestinian- and Israeli- Bedouin Costumes

Beautiful embroideries on the chest and bottom of the long dresses. The embroidery on old dresses were often cut free and added on top of a new dress! In the early 70 ties some Bedouin dresses were sewn from cotton material colored almost black with indigo and old embroideries were attached. This dresses would discolor the skin of the unaware tourists, who of cause didn't wear as many layers of clothes underneath as the Bedouin women did!
