Absolutely rare piece & fantastic art deco shape and design by Carl Fischer from the late 20s to 30s. Minimalist, abstract & boldly playful. The ceramic comes in a completely rough matte finish of pastel turquoise/light blue, with incised natural white/beige decoration, the dots are applied glaze. Smooth glaze top edge and inner. Inspired by historical art deco ceramics. Pot is dated 2021. Approx. 4½" wide, 8½" high. Excellent condition No chips, cracks or repairs. Please see pictures which are part of the description. (Slip refers to clay slip [sometimes called liquid clay] which is put in a "squeezy bottle" and the clay slip is then applied to the body of the piece in a decorative fashion. Once fired, the slip creates a pattern and different texture on the surface of the clay.)
