Gulielmus Tecumseh Sherman (8 Februarii 1820–14 Februarii 1891) fuit miles, negotiator, educator, et scriptor Americanus, qui dux militavit in Exercitu Unionis per Bellum Civile Americanum (1861–1865). Basil Liddell Hart, rerum militarum historicus, declaravit eum fuisse "primum huius aetatis ducem" (1929:430).
