Lapis lazuli (a nomine Arabico لازورد lāzaward, a Persico لاجورد lāǧward, a nomine urbis in hodierna Afgania sitae ubi hic lapis effodiebatur[1][2]) est lapis pretiosus caeruleus ultramarinus maculis aurei coloris praeditus. Inter pigmenta et medicamenta adhibetur.
