Here’s a WIP

It’s so much fun getting to draw all the different expressions of Sebastian that I usually can’t show in my silly comics.

As I work on this manga, I’m realizing all over again just how much I love Sebastian’s mischievous, smirking face.

(Also, I’m honestly relieved to find out I can still draw more than just his horny expressions🤣)

I couldn't resist sketching a few scenes of Sebastian chilling in the Prefects' Bathroom for a one-shot I wrote called "Temptation"

The short fic is already up on Wattpad, BUT the fully illustrated story will be dropping exclusively on AO3 as soon as I'm done with all scenes! 😏

She tagged this with Baps username so I'm gonna share my personal story with them real quick. This is genuinely the only way I got them to stop reposting my content.

PREFERENCING THIS!!!

THIS IS NOT A CALL FOR A WITCH HUNT!! I swear if ANY of y'all send baps death threats, I will personally block you. That is NOT okay, ever. This is not an excuse to send any sort of threat or hate to them, this is just my personal experience with them. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED, DO NOT DO IT!

So sometime last year, I asked my friend to reach out to baps on my behalf and tell them not to repost my content on their pinterest. This is her message & this was the reply she got.

So then I ended up doing some sleuthing and I found the account baps used on tumblr under the username of "cicialekvar" (they have since changed this and I can't find them again.) But everything matched up, it was them. (I have a screen recording comparison as well)

I ended up confronting them over things on a separate account, not letting them know who I was, and told them that they were stealing and reposting content, even tho it had "credits" it was still stolen and they needed to take my things down. I spoke to several screenshot creators prior who had had their things reposted and got proof of them saying they were not comfortable with them being reposted.

All the replies I got were them trying to play me as some sort of fool, calling me stupid, saying I had no idea what I was talking about and that I should "be doing something better with my time & that I could "sit on my account another day!" (in their exact words)

I ended up reaching out to them on my own HL pinterest myself, expressing how I felt and asking them to stop and they never replied.

Baps didn't take the pins down that had my screenshots, but they did stop reposting my content after that. I'm yet to find their new tumblr but genuinely the only way to get them to stop is to confront them about it. Pinterest has already done nothing about taking down stolen pins.

"But they credit!" Half of the time they get it wrong. And I don't care if they credit, if a creator has said no, IT MEANS NO!! Half of the screenshot creators on tumblr already have pinterests you can go follow with their content on it. This goes the SAME for the many artists who have had their content stolen by baps as well!

Baps has even reposted things that explicitly state "DO NOT REPOST" making it clear that they don't care. They want the exposure from it, not to give exposure to the creators.

Everyone wants to complain about how nobody is making HL content nowadays but if you do not support creators, they are going to stop making content! If you don't support creators from the source and instead support their reposters, THEY WILL STOP MAKING CONTENT!!

The new HL update has already made it so extremely hard to do any sort of in game photo content now with how many issues it has had. Please don't give screenshot creators another reason to leave.

There could be a huge chance that they are following several content creators right now under their noses and stealing content. Please reblog this so people will go support the true authors of the content and not a reposter!!

SUPPORT THE SOURCE OF THE CONTENT, NOT THE REPOSTER 👏👏👏

Through this thread, I have just discovered that a artwork that I commissioned and paid for has been republished on Pinterest without my permission and, probably, without the artist's consent. Worse still, upon exploring the account in question, I found that this person does this regularly, justifying their actions by claiming to want to ‘help people find artists’ and ‘offer visibility’.

No.

In reality, this account is appropriating the work of others under the guise of ‘sharing’.

No, it's not normal. No, it's not ‘just a screenshot’. No, it's not ‘good for the creator’.

When you repost a piece without permission:

-You are stealing the control that the artist/creator has over their own work. They decide where and how their work is distributed.

-You are stealing the exclusive use that the client paid for.

- You are undermining the trust between creators and their audience.

-You are harming those who use their creations to earn a living or supplement their income. Every ‘like’ or ‘save’ on an unauthorised repost diverts traffic away from the original creator!!!

If you really want to support creators:

✅ Always ask before sharing. Even if it's ‘just for Pinterest’.

✅ Credit correctly: Author's name + direct link to their account/profile.

✅ If it's a private commission, DO NOT REPOST IT. Period.

Sharing, with respect, is a beautiful thing. Theft disguised as ‘help’ is not.

I love how you captured this bygone era in this modest house that felt like a palace to a child, surrounded by a loving family who needed nothing more. 💖It truly struck a chord with me (and several elements in this chapter really resonated).

The way you describe Lena's beauty and talent, along with her parents' desperate efforts to save her, is deeply moving. The fact that she died from a disease for which the vaccine is now part of routine vaccination programmes in many countries makes her death feel even more unjust.😭🖤

The final line, after the exhumation, hits hard.😭

The oppressive atmosphere and the dynamic between the collector and the teller are fascinating. I love how the collector pushes the teller to confront her deepest emotions. And as a reader, it makes us want to see this tormented soul laid bare.

I also love the description of the room, with the crack widening and the mould spreading... It's as if the room itself reflects the teller's state of mind.🖤

Chapter 14 - Invite them in

Oh, I love this sarcastic, disillusioned, even cynical tone, the questioning of traditions and beliefs, and the reflections on life's injustices.

As is often the case in your stories, I found the appearance of the faces on the television incredibly cinematic and chilling.

As always, diving into your darkness is an absolute treat!

I personally always thought Professor Weasley was really quite pretty and wanted to see her younger self - so here she is! I Think she looks around 35 here maybe?

I lifted sagging skin areas and deep wrinkles from the face model and adhered to the natural face shape she has to keep it accurate, then I removed the deep wrinkles from her face texture without compromising the other details.

I'm not sure if I will post her for download, but I figured I would share regardless 🙂‍↕️

Memento Mori by Philips Gijsels

Finally finished 😭 Timelapse at the bottom! I had an idea for my Wings of Pages series, where instead of text, it's a book full of botanical illustrations. The majority of the time was spent on the individual flowers for each feather/page of the wings. I really love the look of old botanical books with the water color paintings and the scientific names written in cursive. So I spent way too many hours painting out 20 of these flower pages, and even then, it wasn't enough for the wings so I did have to duplicate some.

Wow. Your writing works wonders once again. I loved slipping into her mind, feeling her inner haze, her exhaustion, that strange mix of emptiness and overflow. And the moment she says “I give up” really moved me, because it felt like an implosion and yet… that’s exactly when he reappears.

And your final line is simply perfect. It says it all. We’re all fragments, contradictions, and she chooses to keep going with that, rather than seeking out a saviour or a monster.
