I’ve been on the hunt for a pair of cuffed wide leg jeans that are similar to this AGolde style but more affordable. When I saw this pair in Madewell’s new arrivals I “had” to get them. These jeans are just plain COOL!!
I ordered my usual size and they fit BUT they are a bit tight on the rear end (they sort of give me a wedgie lol). I wore them for a bit around the house to see if they’ll stretch out even though their website says ‘zero stretch’ but to me it feels like they might have a bit give. Their website also says “rigid” and I expected them to be more like the 501 Levi’s jeans that feel kinda stiff. These Madewell ones are soft…they feel amazingly nice on.
I ended up ordering a size up, size 27, to compare the fit. Should have done that the first time as I’m sort of in between sizes right now. For length reference – I’m 5’6 and they’re the perfect length to wear with flat shoes.
