We are excited to announce a special collection titled Dormice – Biology and Conservation, a collaborative effort between the European Journal of Wildlife Research and the 12th International Dormouse Conference. This collection will feature selected studies presented at the conference, showcasing cutting-edge research on various aspects of dormouse biology, including but not limited to:
• Habitat use and preferences
• Hibernation ecology and survival strategies
• Conservation management and reintroduction efforts
• Genetic diversity and population structure
• Impacts of climate change on dormouse populations
• New tools in dormouse research and monitoring
