gemma/ms casey and her multiple innies have suffered more than all of mdr combined so forgive me if i don’t find the ‘aw they chose freedom for five minutes and left her crying and suffering <3’ stuff compelling or some big commentary on bodily autonomy or innie rights or whatever lol

i think severance has a big issue when it comes to how they write their characters of colour bc wdym you had a season long arc about milchick facing racism and discrimination and starting to stand up against lumon only for him to be the villain he was in season 1 in the finale still…
severance fandom babying helena/helly and mark and then demonising every other character even dylan… calling him selfish and an asshole not doing enough to help and for having feelings for gretchen… (as if mark and helly haven’t just spent this season making goo goo eyes at each other) calling reghabi secretly evil and trying to hurt mark… complaining about milchick/saying he’s irredeemable and complicit. saying the most vile stuff about gemma/wishing violent death on her. i know what you are.jpeg
