Jackie Mann
Jackie Mann most recently earned from Master of Library & Information Science in May of 2023. She also earned her MA in Art History at the University of Texas at Austin in May 2018. She previously earned a BA from DePaul University as a double-major in both the History of Art and Architecture and Anthropology. Most of her work focuses on the art of Byzantium, Medieval Europe, and the Medieval Mediterranean. Within these periods, Jackie is most interested in cross-cultural and spatial networks, and how objects change as they travel through time and space. She has over three years of experience in libraries and archives, and currently works as a Library Acquisitions Associate at Loyola University Chicago. Her broader research interests are intentionally inter-disciplinary, and include archaeology, anthropology, art history, museum studies, and cultural heritage protection.
