To share your knowledge is the best form of knowledgAs a doctoral candidate in Software Engineering at LUT University enrolled in 2021, she is deeply immersed in the study of DevOps, with a particular focus on uncovering the key success factors and organizational practices that drive its effectiveness.
Driven by a passion for exploring diverse research domains, including social media dynamics, quantum technology, low-code/no-code platforms, and user-centered design, she is dedicated to unraveling the complexities of DevOps her upcoming dissertation defense, scheduled for the end of 2024. Her experience extends beyond academia; she has been actively participating in workshops and co-creation activities as part of an EU Horizon project.
Additionally, she contributed to various MSc courses at LUT University, serving as a Teacher in charge, guiding students with 2 case companies for student projects, giving guest lectures and consistently delivering results with efficiency.
She had the opportunity to share her expertise through guest lectures at the University of Jyväskylä, Finland, Students course lectures at LUT university and guest lectures at Norwegian University of Science and Technology during her research visit in 2023. She is eager to engage in similar opportunities in the future. Since embarking on her PhD journey in 2021, she has been awarded four grants from EU Horizon projects, personal grants, LUT Foundation grants, and PHP grants.
Nasreen's research has been published in esteemed journals such as Technological Forecasting and Social Change, the Journal of Information and Software Technology, the International Journal of Information and Learning Technology, and the Journal of Retailing and Consumer Services. Additionally, her work has been presented at renowned conferences including the European Conference on Information Systems (ECIS), the Conference on e-Business, e-Services, and e-Society (IFIP), the International Conference on Product-Focused Software Process Improvement (Profes), the International Conference on Software Business (ICSOB), the International Conference on Communities and Technologies (C&T) and, the IEEE/ACM International Conference on Software Engineering companion proceedings.
