Terms of service

1) Commissions are meant for personal use only, and I do not allow them to be used for NFTs or ML training. For commercial rates, please email me with information about your project.2) Displayed base prices are subject to change according to the complexity of each individual piece.3) Clear visual references must be provided by the Client. A preliminary quote will be provided afterwards, as well an estimate of the time it will take to deliver the finished artwork.4) If references are not provided, an additional fee will be added for characters or items I need to design. This fee will depend on the character/item complexity and will be clearly communicated to the Client.5) Revisions are allowed at the sketch phase; alterations to the illustration requested at a later stage will be billed separately.6) After a sketch has been agreed on, payment must be made in full within 7 days of invoice through PayPal in Euros.7) If the commission is cancelled, the Client can receive a partial refund.
- 25% of the total payment after update delivery.
- 50% of the total payment after sketch delivery.
If notice of cancellation is provided after the commission has been completed, no refund will be issued.8) I reserve the right to turn down a commission request if I do not believe to be able to fulfil the Client's request; likewise, I reserve the right to turn down criticism and/or revisions if I believe they will affect the final quality of the piece.9) The Client will be updated weekly about the progress of their commission via email.10) Commissions will be posted on bluesky and tumblr (lyannatropes). If the Client doesn't want their commission to be posted publicly, please state so in your message. If the commission is a gift, the Client can request for it to be posted at a determined time.11) I retain all rights to the commissioned artwork; if the character(s) depicted belong the the Client, the Client retains the rights of said characters.12) The Client may not profit from the artwork. The Client may resize or crop the artwork to create icons, wallpapers, or other graphics to be used in non-commercial digital format, but the Client cannot alter the artwork itself. The Client may also upload the artwork to their personal website or gallery accompanied by a credit line to either my portfolio page (https://lyannaartworks.carrd.co/) or my socials (lyannatropes), and it must not be any high resolution or unwatermarked version of the artwork.13) I may not be available to answer DMs on holidays, scheduled days off work, or emergencies. If you do not receive a reply within 7 days, I encourage you to resend your message.14) The Client must read, understand and agree to all the above terms. By sending payment, the Client agrees to the above terms.
