Single numeric identifier space
editNILF seems to be a single numeric identifier space regardless of what type of identifier it refers to. A description of the ranges are available here: Cos'è il NILF. Here are some examples:
- A creator (Q2500638): "autori" (10000–59999)
- A publishing company (Q2085381): "editori" (60000–69999)
- A series of creative works (Q7725310): "collane" (70000–99999)
- A publication (Q732577): "volumi" (100000–499999)
- A creative work (Q17537576): "opere" (1000000–1999999)
As such, I believe the domain should be expanded (and perhaps the identifiers restricted to numeric). For now, I added format and constraint specifiers for the current allowed range (of "autori": "NILF" + 10000–59999). Here is some historical discussion it:Discussioni portale:Fantascienza/Archivio3#Fantascienza.com/catalogo 50.53.1.33 00:55, 10 March 2017 (UTC)
- I agree with the extension proposed, and I also think that the formatter URL should be changed to http://nilf.it/$1. @Marcok:, cosa ne pensi? --Epìdosis 10:07, 25 August 2019 (UTC)
- I agree both to expand the range of application of the identifier and if possible to turn the parameter to numeric only. --Marcok (talk) 06:56, 9 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Epìdosis, Marcok: Done, please check if it is all ok. I'm going to replace all the 2.000+ identifiers removing the 'NILF' part. --Horcrux (talk) 08:54, 7 November 2019 (UTC)
