A reminder to all who follow me that:
I'm friendly, not your friend. We are but friendly strangers.
Us goofing off, or joking around - does not make us friends.
Replying to messages, leaving comments, mutually follwing each other - does not make us friends.
That you enjoy what I create, and me appreciating that, or vice versa - doesn't make us friends.
Me being kind to you, or caring for your wellbeing as my neighbour in this world, or just being generally empathic to your struggles - still makes us strangers to one another.
Sharing a bit about our lives, or you knowing things about me that I've written on my blog - does, again, not make us friends.
Sharing a fandom space, a server or chat room - also doesn't make us friends.
You don't know me, I don't know you.
Please exersice self-awareness of whether or not you may be parasocially attached to someone you follow online. Me or others.
Ps. You're not a bad person if you realise that you are. It's not a good-or-bad thing. It's just becoming self-aware and letting that make you grow as a person. Keep yourself safe and conscious.
I say this for yours and my own safety and wellbeing.

Reblog if you would like to share this message with your own followers, too. A reminder of bundaries (both ways) is always good.
