Carne Griffiths

Carne Griffiths graduated as an illustrator in 1995 before moving into a career in fashion and textiles. He worked as gold wire embroidery designer for 12 years, progressing from draftsman to Creative Director at the soho based atelier Hand & Lock. Carne began to work as a fine artist and illustrator in 2010, his approach to painting utilised calligraphy inks and liquids such as tea and alcohol to create layered artwork.
