Drip Biscuits
• 2 ¼ cups XO Baking All-Purpose Flour • 8 tbsp cold butter • 1 ¼ tsp kosher salt • 1 tbsp sugar (or coconut sugar) • ½ tsp baking soda • 1 tbsp baking powder • 1 ½ cups buttermilk (or oat milk + vinegar for DF option) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 450°F. Butter a 9” cast iron skillet or 7x10 baking dish. 2. Mix dry ingredients in a bowl. 3. Cut in cold butter until crumbly. 4. Add buttermilk; mix gently (don’t overmix). Dough will be crumbly. 5. Freeze for 20 minutes. 6. Scoop 6 biscuits into the dish using a large ice cream scoop. 7. Bake for 20 minutes. Serve warm!
