On September 1st 2016, we announced to our large ohana that we’ve been blessed with our son through loving open adoption - that weekend we celebrated our good news as a family-of-three at the Maryland Renaissance Festival with our beautiful then-one year old daughter, patiently waiting to become a sweet family-of-four. Baltimore is where we completed our beautiful little ohana thanks to being stationed within the vibrant city from 2016 to 2018 - we celebrated our beautiful son’s 1st birthday at the Maryland Renaissance Festival in 2017 to give our son his “own castle” like his big sister the year earlier celebrating her 1st birthday at Walt Disney World, thus creating one of the sweetest annual family traditions for our humble little ohana. Her middle name represents the beautiful rainbow, the beautiful purple irises that surrounded the hospital on the day of her birth, and the Greek Goddess of the Rainbow. We named our beautiful son after an Irish saint to honor both of our Irish-descent grandparents and the fact that he is "full of goodness". In 2016 when our beautiful daughter was just 6 months old, she met one of my lifelong "best friends" that her nickname was given from - my kukui nut tree that lived and thrived in my Wahiawa Kuahale Ct. childhood front yard for two entire decades until taken down in 2018. Our beautiful son was nicknamed after my late calabash uncle's favorite tree frog that lives and thrives within our Hawai'i Nei which is originally from our legacy home of our Puerto Rico.
