Angelika Erskine on Instagram: "shaved brussel sprout salad 15 or so medium sized brussel sprouts, raw, shaved with mandolin slicer 2 large crisp apple, thinly julienned with mandolin slicer candied pecans, chopped (make yourself or buy from store) bacon, cut into small cubes and cooked until crispy blue cheese crumbles lemon pecan vinaigrette 1/2 cup pecan halves 1/4 cup lemon juice 2 tbsp maple syrup 2 tbsp chopped shallot 3/4 up olive oil 1/2 cup water (to thin) or you can use chicken stock for extra flavor!! salt + pepper blend everything together until smooth. Usually I add around 1/2 tsp of salt and then taste and see if it needs more. If it’s not a WOW, it needs a bit more salt combine all items in bowl after prep and toss with vinaigrette. enjoy!"
