The Chinese Giant Salamander The Chinese Giant Salamander is the largest living amphibian on Earth. The size of this species can grow up to 1.8 meters long and weigh up to 30 kg. Nowadays, it rarely arrives to this size but the average length is still around 1.15 meters. This species is also in danger due to heavy harvesting and destruction of it’s habitat.
