Best Appetizer From Grandma A! | Best Appetizer From Grandma A! These yummy spinach balls will wow your friends and family. #partyfood #spinach #easyrecipes #appetizers | By Scott & Karen | Is 210ounce packages of frozen spinach chopped that I chopped a little bit more because we want it finer. And to that we are adding half a cup of pecorino Romano. You can use Parmesan. This is half a teaspoon of thyme. Not the kind on your watch. Oh boy. Here we go. Four beaten eggs. And this is three quarters of a cup of margarine melted. Wonder why margarine and not butter. I don't know. That's a grandma question because that was her recipe. This is one large onion diced fine and I'm not going to use a lot because that was a lot of onion. That looked like a large onion. We're using Pepperage Farm stuffing mix and this is two cups. Okay. I'm going to dump it all in there. Then a half a teaspoon of garlic powder. Which isn't very much. But the stuffing mix is seasoned. Yeah. And then half a teaspoon of salt. Which also isn't very much. Come on little guy. There we go. And we are just going to mix this all up. Now we are we're at we're at a guest's kitchen today. We are. We're in my mom and dad's kitchen in Pennsylvania. Cooking up a storm. We are. Cooking for their freezer and just for fun. Alright. So we're going to mix this all up. And then it goes in the refrigerator for an hour to chill. Okay our mixture has been cooling. Chilling I should say in the fridge for a couple hours. And we are just going to these into small little balls. Kinda like a meatball. Okay. And just put it on an ungreased cookie sheet. So I can't remember. Where did where did you get this recipe? Oh this was my grandma's recipe. Ah. Grandma Angeletti. Grandma Angeletti. Yes. That's great. So it's been around for a long time. A long time. Alright. Can't wait to eat it. Yeah me too. And they freeze well. Okay we've got what what we say 44 out of this? Yes. Forty-four? That's pretty good. Now you can make them smaller and we probably should've. Mine were bigger. And yeah you could you could tell the ones Karen made because they were like twice the size of the ones that I made. They were. We had to fix them. So we would have probably had four. Yeah right. Four big spinach spinach balls. And it's a great appetizer. So our oven's on three fifty. And these little guys will be in there for about 12 minutes. Maybe a little longer. We'll check em. Alright, let's take a look. Smells so good. It does smell good in here. Mm. The oven is hot. Ooh. They don't look much different when they're done. That's okay. Now but you can see they browned up a little bit. Right. From that margarine it looks like. Yeah. But they look good. Mhm. And they really honestly they really smell amazing. They do. Now these cooked for what do we say? 16 minutes so. Yeah. Longer than what the recipe said. Um so you just kind of watch it a little bit. But we are definitely letting them cool. Here they are. And you know what time it is. Yeah I do know what time it is. I'm going to just snatch this one right here. Okay. And they're still they're still pretty warm. Okay. So that's good. Yep. That's great. You can go ahead and try this. Warm them up or eat them room temperature. Some like them cold even. And it's been a really long time since you made this huh? Very long time. Alright. So many memories with this. Alright. Let's see what it tastes like. Okay. Out. Mm. Mhm. Yeah it's good. Okay. Yeah. How could we have not made these for that long? I don't know. I don't know why I didn't. Makes me think of my grandmother. Yeah. That's good. Those are good memories. It is. Mhm. You taste all the things. The cheese and all. Okay. Mhm. Yeah very good. Okay so it's a flavorful. Oh yeah. We knew that ahead of time. We did though. Alright. Let's get you down there. Here they are. A yummy appetizer. Enjoy spinach balls. Give them a try and have a blessed day.

One package of cream cheese to that. That's 8 ounces. I've got some borsen cheese, three green onions that I chopped, and one 14 ounce can of artichokes. I've got one cup of sour cream. I've got three cloves of garlic, eight ounces or two cups of shredded mozzarella. I'm going to grate in some fresh parmesan. You can add as much or as little as you like. I'm going to sprinkle in some crushed red pepper flakes. This is definitely optional. Lastly, I've got some salt. Gonna sprinkle that right on top. We can't forget the pepper just a little bit and put my lid on and I'm going to cook this on high for about one and a half hours. Alright, our easy Crockpot spinach artichoke dip is done. I've been smelling it. I cannot wait to taste it. I like it with some chips. You'll have to let me know what do you like it with. Here we go. Mm mm mm. Let me know if you try it. Yum.

1.5M views · 17K reactions | Your family will love this easy treat! | Your family will love this easy treat! I make hot coco rice crispy treats for Christmas. | By Justine Kameron | Alright, we are starting off with ten ounces of mini marshmallows and three fourths a stick of butter. We are just going to let those marshmallows and that butter melt on medium to low heat. We want to make sure that none of that burns and we just get a nice delicious gooey texture. Alright, now that this is starting to get nice and melted, we're going to add our secret ingredient, our hot chocolate. I'm using the milk chocolate hot chocolate but you can use the peppermint, you use the dark chocolate and I'm adding two of those little packets into our marshmallow and butter mixture and we're going to go ahead and start mixing this. I have my heat on low now but we're just going to get this nice and blended into that mixture. Make sure all of those marshmallows melt up too. Oh my goodness, that looks absolutely delicious. We're turning off the heat completely now and it's time to add our cocoa crispies. So these aren't the original. These are the cocoa. Which is just going to go so great with that hot chocolate. And we're going to add about four to 5 cups Oh my goodness. That smells so delicious. And now it's time to mix that all in. Oh look at that. This is going to be so delicious. So festive. So easy. It does not get any better than this. Just make sure to get all of that marshmallow well combined with those cocoa crispies. Really dig into the bottom of that pan. And while we are mixing, I'm actually going to go ahead and add an additional cup of marshmallows just for some fluffy pieces inside of our dessert. That's optional. I had boughtten the 16 ounce bag of mini marshmallows and just put six ounces of them to the side. Okay, but let's use our arm strength and get these well mixed. Now, we're going to go ahead and add our delicious mixture into our greased nine by 13. You're going to need some orange strength because those are some sticky rice crispies but we're go ahead and put this whole entire pot right into our pan. Don't worry about it being all in one lump. We will make sure to take care of that. But oh my gosh look how yummy that looks. Now once all that's in there I'm going to just use that butter wrapper and I'm going to use the buttered side to flatten out my rice crispies. This is the best hack for flattening out your rice crispies. My mom taught me this when I was a kid and I do it every time. Once that's completely flattened out with your butter, we are ready for our next step. Oh my goodness, these are so ooey and gooey and chewy. I cannot wait for you guys to see the end result. Okay, that is perfect. Now, we want these to be a little bit festive. So, I'm going to grab some mini festive MandM's and we're just going to kind of sprinkle them here and there on top. We don't need too much. I'm going to use maybe like one fourth a cup of these MandM's and then final I found these little jet puff bits and I just think they're so cute and I had to add them on top of our hot chocolate rice crispies. Oh yes. Now before we pop these in the fridge I'm just going to kind of pat these down so that they stick. Otherwise they will just fall right off if they're not patted in crusted. Okay. That looks perfect. Alright. I'm putting this in the fridge for 1 hour. Oh The time is here. We get to dig into our delicious hot cocoa rice crispy treats. I'm just going to go ahead and cut myself a piece. Make sure it cut all the way through. I did grease my pan. So hopefully we will have no trouble getting this out. Okay I went ahead and loosened it up. Now to get my spatula underneath there. Oh my That looks so good. I think these are going to be my new favorite rice crispy treats. Let's give it a try.

Cover that with some plastic. You can see that our dough has risen now. Took about three or four hours and then you're just going to take your fingers and press them in just like that and it deflates a little bit. That's okay. We want to create these little holes. Look at that. Just like that. Perfect. Now, you're going to take some olive oil and drizzle about a teaspoon into each one of these filling those holes There you go. It's okay if you get a lot because that makes good focaccia and now, we're going to add some toppings. I've got some beautiful tomatoes. We're going to just add a few tomatoes right here. You can probably get three in each one and you know what else we need? Some herbs. I've got some fresh rosemary. This is going to be delicious. What toppings would you use? Sky's the limit. It could be whatever you want. This next one, we're going to take some olives. Add a few olives as well. There we go. You know what else we need with the olives? Some feta. Some feta. There's some in this half of the fridge there. Should I get that for you? Feta. Uh here it is. Everything's better with feta. Boom. Now, if you don't like feta, you don't have to use this kind of cheese. You could really customize this however you'd like but I think a little bit of crumbled feta will go nicely like a Mediterranean style. Here we go. On this last one, we're going to go with some pepperoni. They have these cute mini pepperonis. Grab a handful of these and add those as well. So, it's almost like a pizza but fancier because it's focaccia and then we're going to add mozzarella and these are the pearls. So, they're little balls of mozzarella. Grab a few of these out. Mozzarella headphones. Yes. Mozzarella has balls. Alright. There we go. Just add a few of those in there. Man, this is going to be good, isn't it? Easiest focaccia you will ever make. Now, we're just going to top that with some salt and pepper. A little bit of salt and pepper and the only thing we're missing is a little bit of oregano. I'm going to sprinkle some oregano on top of these last two. We got rosemary in the first one, oregano in the back too. Look at that. This is going to be delicious and beautiful. It's going to rise in the oven. I can't wait to taste test this. I've got my oven preheated at 350 degrees. You're going to be ready in about 15 minutes. Don't go anywhere. We're going to taste test before you know it. While that's baking, it's time for the middle of the day. See if you can get this one right. When is green means stop and red means go. That is a good one. See if you can get this one right. Let us know where you're from in the comments because I'll be reading all those and I'll say hi to as many of you as I can after you tell us where you're from then give us your guess. I'll be putting the answer in the comments before you know it but first give it a try. Oh it smells so good y'all. I can't wait to try these. Look at how beautiful they turned out. Oh wow. This is going to be delicious. Alright I'm just going to dig in with my spoon. Look at that. Perfect and we're just going to place these on our little plate. There's one with the olives. And our rosemary and tomato. Wow. This looks fancy. I can't wait to try this one. Which one are you going to try? I'm going to go with that one right there. Alright, get in here. Let's do a taste test. Picasha thyme. Yay. You try the olive one? Alright. This is good. Uh oh. This is downright delicious. Wow. I'm having to try the olive. I'm making a mess. These are so good. This is like you get it at a restaurant. Really? Mhm. We are elevating our recipes. You know. We are are trying fresh ingredients. Different things. Give me some suggestions. What do you want to see next? Your family's going to love this focaccia. This is so good.
