Fruity Christmas mincemeat - follow and save for more of the same - you can make this anytime from now until Christmas but a little time helps flavours to mature - mam made everything on Christmas Eve in our house and we all loved her cooking! Enjoy 😊

Makes 6-7 small jars
Ingredients
* 100 gms chopped almonds
* 375 gms raisins
* 375 gms sultanas
* 375 gms currants
* 200 gms mixed peel
* 350 gms brown sugar - any kind of dark is fine - I used muscovado
* 4 tbsp all spice or mixed spice
* 1 tbsp nutmeg
* zest and juice of 2 oranges and 2 lemons
* 3 bramley apples chopped - skin on is fine
* 250 gms butter
When cooked
* 6 tbsp brandy

Method
