Thank you @laurenrennells for the inspiration to try this #1940shair look. Rather than a swoop on one side I did a few victory rolls instead because why not? 🙂 

How to, part 1
1. Section out the front section of hair (where your bangs would be) and clip the rest out of the way. We curl this section first so it has the longest time for curls to set.
2. Curl the front section using a 1-inch wand, curling up toward your crown and away from your face. Clip curls into place with double prong curl clips.
3. Repeat until all of your hair has been curled and clipped.
