What Happens if I Paint on Primed vs Unprimed Leaves?
I painted on primed vs unprimed leaves to see if you need to prep dried and pressed leaves before painting. How do you prime a leaf, if you want the color of the leaf to show as the background for your painting? I tried priming my pressed leaves with two different types of gesso and comparing them to leaves I did not prime at all. Then I painted on all of them using acrylics. Click through to watch!
