Bands that changed my life

Back in 2006, music was so important to me. I was going through an 'emo' stage complete with black hair (dyed extreme one day from my blonde hair), pierced lip and stretched ears! I used to go to gigs two or three times a week and used to spend all my wages on either gig tickets or CDs in HMV. Subverse, Taste of Chaos & Give it a Name were a must. It was in the Myspace era when people would recognise you at gigs just from your Myspace picture. Oh and field parties!

Brigade - Just because at the time the singer was Charlie from Busted/Fightstar's brother
Do the Bartman [VINYL]
Again didn't change my life but I had the record of this and apparently would insist on showing my mums friends dance routines to it.
Paul McCartney and Wings We All Stand Together - EX 1984 UK 7" vinyl R6086
Didn't really change my life but this was my first record (not CD!) - Apparently I Loved the video.
Saosin
Saosin - Saw this band at Taste Of Chaos at Brixton Academy. They signed a poster and my ticket! This I also saw them at Give it a Name one year.
Spice
Spice Girls - This was the first band I was in to and I remember seeing 'Wannabe' on Top of the Pops for the first time! Saw them twice - Once at Earls Court and Once at Wembley
Dear Diary, My Teenage Angst Has A Bodycount
From First To Last - Had tickets to see them twice in one week and then Sonny Moore (now better known as Skrillex) left the band. Was gutted. 'Kiss Me I'm Contagious' was my fave song on this album.
The Same Old Blood Rush With A New Touch
Cute Is What We Aim For - Danced with this band on stage at the Barfly
Fall out Boy - Saw FOB at Brixton Academy - the only gig I ever crowd surfed at!
Busted - Met this band so many times. They were my teenage band. My most memorable time was winning a competition to have a BBQ with them on the roof of Virgin Megastores! I remember everytime they'd rellease a new single I'd wait for Woolworths to open and buy the CD to listen to on my CD walkman. Even though I had the Album I wanted the b-sides!
