Beach family

The key to beach sessions here in Monterey is to all pick very muted colors or all pick one color tone to build off of. The muted colors will blend you into the background more and that will focus on the relationship and posing while the color will pop you out from the background and will focus on your full body. Make sure to wear sensible footwear, you will get sandy and walk all over rocks so it is nice to protect your feet and help give you some traction climbing rocks but don't let your outfit be all one color and then you wear neon shoes- it really distracts from the picture. Think about simple sandals or boat shoes. Flowing skirts are nice to catch the wind and add movement to the photos, but remember that wind may also blow your hair around so have a backup plan if it is down. Suspenders are super cute as well!
