Vas Karpetas on Instagram: "My favourite time of the year it’s time to propagate! Get free plants from your own garden and when you don’t have enough space where to put them give them to your friends they will love you forever. This method of propagation goes for all Hydrangeas. #gardenerslife #gardenersworld #instagardeners #gardenersofinstagram #gardeners #nature #gardenlove #gardens #gardeninspiration #gardendesign #flowers #plants #gardenlife #garden #gardening #hydrangea #propagation #tutorial #hydrangeas"
Michael Griffiths on Instagram: "How to take hydrangea cuttings in late summer Select healthy, non-flowering shoots 10-15cm long, that have at least three sets of leaves below the top set of leaves. Trim below a node then remove the sets of leaves on the lower nodes by snipping them off as close to the stem as possible. Cut each hydrangea leaf in half with a knife. This reduces water loss and the stress endured by the rooting process. Insert the cuttings individually into small pots filled with gritty propagation compost Put in partial sun and keep the soil moist but not wet. You should see new leaves forming soon which means the cutting has rooted."

Simon Akeroyd on Instagram: "Garlic likes a cold spell prior to planting. However, if you are buying garlic ftom the supermarket now, chances are they will have been kept in a cold store. So should be fine to grow. #growgarlic How to grow garlic from the supermarket. I grow them like thus every year and have had great crops. It really works! Garlic likes fertile, well-drained soil in full sun. Plant the cloves 12cm (5in) apart. Cloves should be at a depth of about 2cm below the surface. Each clove should form a new bulb with lots more cloves. #growyourown #gardeningforbeginners #vegetablegardeningforbeginners #gardeninghacks"
