Candle Making - Tips for Achieving Smooth Tops on your Candles
In love with these smooth candle tops! It’s not always easy to get that perfect surface—so many factors come into play as the candle cools and sets. For example, using the right wax, not overloading on fragrance, stirring long enough to create a homogenous blend, finding the ideal pour temperature, pouring slowly to avoid air bubbles, cooling steadily (no rushing!), prepping your containers, managing humidity... and above all .... lots of practice and patience!

The Green Theatre Garden (Il Teatro di Verzura) at Villa Grabau is my go-to escape for a little bit of peace and solitude. Cool and verdant, it’s shaded by majestic Ginkgo Biloba trees, with two Renaissance marble lions standing sentinel at the entrance. At the center, a small round pond with a bubbling fountain adds to the tranquil vibe.
