Working today in Procreate on some little file folders. These brushes were originally created in Photoshop. I love when design software plays well together. 😀 My plan is to print these out on card stock, add some finishing touches, and use them in my junk journal. 👉 Also thinking about creating a template with a tutorial if anyone is interested (free but might sell as part of something else later).

Imperfection in Creativity

Imperfection in creativity is a topic I hold close to my heart. I’ve always been so hard on myself and felt like everything I created had to be perfect. But thankfully I learned that’s stupid. LOL. And that’s not how creativity works. The real magic happens when we let go of the need for perfection and just get in there and create -mess and all. I’ve had my fair share of messy projects, and you know what? They’re some of my favorites. It’s in those imperfect moments that we can find the most joy and discover new things about ourselves. Your creativity is a gift, and it doesn’t have to be perfect to be wonderful.
