These reusable gift tags and place markers are so quick and fun to make and cost like 50 cents each! I hate writing out gift tags and I also hate that they are usually non-biodegradable stickers or that they just end up in the trash. Supplies (comment crafts for a link to all my fave craft supplies on Amazon if you don’t want to shop around!): •crayola air dry clay (or whatever air dry clay you like!) •rolling pin (I used wax paper under too but you don’t have to!) •brown paper gift tags and wooden beads, all from dollarama. •letter stamps - available at Michael’s or dollarama. I use these for all sorts of crafts. •knife Directions: 1. Take a big chunk of clay and knead while wetting your hands a bit to get the perfect consistency, which is smooth and soft clay, this will make your projects turn out better with no cracks. 2. Roll to just under a 1/4 inch thickness. 3. Cut out your tag in long strips, then into small rectangles that fit on your tags, and cut off two corners to match. 4. Press your letter stamps in or carve a name in with a poker. 5. Poke a hole in the string end big enough for your twine. Allow to dry for 24 hours. 6. Add to the paper gift tag. Add a couple wooden beads. 7. Voila! Share this with a friend who loves sustainable crafting and save for later!! That’s it! How cute are these? They could also be used as ornaments.
