Nicky's art beat

Hi I'm Nickaela vanroon and I currently attend Ursuline College. My family and the music I discover and listen to faithfully influences not only me but my art also. I prefer to create art when I get inspired and like to use pencil crayons and sketch pencils since I have complete control with various colour options. I enjoy listening/discovering new music, singing, writing in my journal, doing my makeup, reading, drawing, colouring, laughing, going for runs, updating my YouTube channel. High heels were originally invented for men to wear.

I then decided to go over the died Sky pigment with new and made the features on the house in the back ground darker, also outlining it with black oil paint. I added more purple to the building and blended it in while also adding random white highlights to the water.
The main reason why I picked this picture was because of the boat because it reminds me of Micky mouse's old steamboat and I absolutely loved Walt Disney world when I went and Mickey is an amazing little creature. I first outlined the bottom of the boat and I actually didn't have room to fit it in so I went over things and that's why the white is more lilac.
I used icon Mickey Mouse colours and yellow was one of them.
I then added the little details to the boat with a fine tipped brush and blended the white highlights in the water. Also, adding a pop of red beside the building and darkening the dock to complete the whole picture. This is the finished product.
I randomly added a beige strip to the dock just cause and after touching up the lilac boat bottom with white, I started to outline the inner boat house in the boat. I also went over the two trees on the back ground and brightened them up with new solid oil paint pigments to give them an eye catching vibe.
I put the boat dock in and added lighter brown highlights to give it more of a realistic feel. I then darkened the water in the distance and slowly lightened it as I approached the dock. I added purple on top of the building because it's my favourite colour and blended it into the blues.
I put the dark green top coat on the grass and mixed various shades of greens to make unique ones and applied then in a stippling motion to the tops of the trees. I then slathered a dark solid brown base coat on the water portion so that the top highlights and colours will pop. I then added the building and used a dark blue and then went in with baby blue and added highlights.
This is my shirt silk screen print that came out very crisp and white. Besides a little white left over mess marks it looks amazing. I could have waited til my screen was dried or I could have dried it more with another paper towel.
This was very first print and I used way to much ink and it turned out blotchy and horrible. I didn't keep it. I could have used less ink.
I used two very icon and tradition colours of Mickey Mouse which are black and red.
Then I wanted a grey and black print to represent the icon black and white Micky Mouse cartoon so I mixed black and white paint to get this desired shade of grey.
After I got it outlined to my liking, I started cutting old socks up to form the grey kind of box inside of the tv and started hot glueing the fabric to the wire wrapping it around to give it a clean/flat looking finish.
So first printed off a picture of a retro television and then instead of using a plastic sheet I used a clear binder divider and taped it shut. Then started out lining the picture with the wire.
After I drew my idea on a separate piece of paper, I traced it onto the silk screen and started applying the blocker.
This is my design for my silk screen print. It's a mix of the iconic Mickey Mouse. The buttons represent the creepy Tim burton Coraline movie. Micky mouse is my favourite and I personally own a lot of Micky Mouse clothes that represent my obsession. I decided to create my own unique take on the mouse that started it all.
