Osananajimi ga Zettai ni Makenai Love Comedy

Sueharu Maru is childhood best friends with one of Hozumino High School's most popular girls, Kuroha Shida. Cute, outgoing, and affectionate, Kuroha is the perfect older sister type. She has boys constantly begging at her feet to be with her. Yet, when she confesses to Sueharu one day, he immediately rejects her; he just can't think of her in that way! Besides, he already has his sights set on his first love—school idol and renowned author Shirokusa Kachi.

Sueharu believes that he has a chance with Kachi after one fateful meeting, but soon, he finds out that Kachi has a boyfriend! With his dreams now shattered, Sueharu agonizes over what could have been. That is, until Kuroha approaches him with a proposal: "let's get revenge."

Ayo, this anime has got to be one of the best harem-romance anime I've ever seen but, why is the rating so low? Like, where was the problem? The animation was amazing, the story is just ecstatic, the character development is solid, the way everybody's past has been shown is perfect and the fact that every character(even the side characters) are aware of their feelings, the MC is also not an air-head I mean anyone who would be put in his situation would act the same. All in all, the anime was very relatable which made it a great watch for me. And for those ... who didn't understand the ending, IT WAS THE ENDING OF THE MOVIE "CHILD KING" NOT THE ANIME, I REPEAT THE ENDING WAS NOT OF THE ANIME. So, stop giving negative remarks on this absolute gem. I just hope the misunderstanding about the ending is cleared asap so that this banger receives the rating it deserves and gets adapted for a s2.

Mixed Feelings

A fresh retake on the old Childhood friend RomCom

Destroyed by a frankly lackluster execution.
You have a beautiful trio of ladies with their own takes on the past of the MC.

Each one with a different take to falling in to a relationship with the MC.

This show should had been so much better, but instead in an effort to emphasize the childhood friend.
Broadcasted her as an over the top Highschooler with on-the-go decision making but with the mindset of a gradeschooler.

... As you watch by the episodes, the story does slowly develop on to the MC's past being the prime of the series but.
It then suddenly comes to a screeching halt when all it felt like.
Were two lackluster attempts at capturing the heart of the MC with again his past being the prime.

You, the reader can probably understand.
How I emphasize on the whole, "The MC's past"
Cause that is what the show was all about.
It was centered on this incident with little to no backings as well as story.

Frankly, this is a series you play with an another tab opened on your browser.
Sadly, the production and artwork felt a lot modern and fresh.
But is destroyed by lackluster writing and script.

Sorry.
a mere 5/10 is all I can give.
At least they tried.

This would be an anime that would score a borderline at 3 and lower than 5. Its pretty subpar. Having meh characters, and flawed storyline. That’s all I gotta say. Its not the worse in the world however, because there are some good gems into it like the comedy which is there and some pretty decent music which makes up for the issues I have explained earlier.

If this has a second season, I would probably give this a similar score if it remains the same, but if they happened to improve on the episodes for the second season, then I would give this higher than ... even a 5. I feel like this anime needs a season 2 and the reason this should really NEED a second season is that the ending just feels incomplete and It’s really misunderstood to the fact it has zero logic and zero common sense into it. Yes, I know people would say this doesn’t deserve a second season, but give it a chance like how Date a live improved with it’s 4th season, when s1 - s3 doesn’t make the cut.

I wanna also add up that if you want to watch an anime having the same voice actors feat. Ayane, Inori and Matsuoka, then try out Quintessential Quintuplets. They have the complete comedy, storyline, and character development into it. Or if you want a romcom anime that has comedy and complete storyline into it, then there are other animes out there that has decent romcom. Yea, you might tell me, what are the anime romcoms recommended to watch? Well, I can’t tell because there are a LOT i have seen in the past and in the current day, so might as well get into it.

Now, I will leave my warning to this anime because this is something that they should learn from their mistakes. Not only this comment they should see, but also the other reviews I have read about this anime, which I really agree or disagree. Note that I’m not copying their reviews. I just see what anime are they trying to show me and then give my thoughts into it.

Again, pls don’t get offended because again its based on personal opinions.

Now I’m gonna continue my journey to the next anime to watch and review. I will give hope to this by redeeming themselves.

But if they don’t then I really see nothing. NOTHING! But just the same loop.
