Dear Toradora... (spoilers)
Anime Relations: Toradora!
I won't bother with a review as I feel I'd be ranting at the moment. I prefer placing my feelings in a blog.
Endings have a huge impact on the overall watching experience. Why must these romance anime rush an ending with melodrama crap with characters that make rash decisions to turn things around? I mean, I loved this series! I was willing to give it a 10! I laughed! I cried! I felt for the characters! And they end it with this?! WHY?! I loved the pacing. I don't dislike the fact that they waited til the very end to decide to have Taiga and Ryuji fall in love with each other. I thought it was great! I disliked how childish Kuramura reacted when his love decided to leave for America, but I was willing to overlook that and give it a 9. I disliked the melodrama and cliches that these romance anime have, but I was willing to give it an 8. But it kept going until it gave me some random BS that I can't stand with romance anime. You decide that you hate your parents' ways and elope? Taiga, you decide to follow your mom, transfer, and leave Ryuji behind? You decide to show up at the very end just for an "I love you" scene? Of course, fans will find for that and ignore everything else! I just...!
You know what? I'm done. I'm disappointed, and I really wanted to love this series. However, endings have an impact on my score. 7 isn't bad, but it had the potential to do so much better. My heart is ripped by 1 cm, because I considered this one of the funniest romantic comedies I've seen. But alas, things happen unexpectedly. Maybe the ending didn't bug you as much as it did for me, but it's a bunch of BS imo.
Despite the ending, I'm still going to watch the OVA and everything else. Maybe it'll turn things around for me. We'll see.

What Makes a Good Ecchi?
Anime Relations: Shokugeki no Souma
I don't watch ecchi much. I can't stand the fanservice, but I really want to watch more of it to understand it. Food Wars brought this on. I read and reviewed some ecchi, and I want to know if I was fair in my ratings. My question is, "What makes a good ecchi?"

HELP! Please explain Log Horizon to me.
Anime Relations: Log Horizon
I fell in love with Log Horizon in the beginning and thought how far superior it is to SAO. The fights and the characters really grabbed my attn., causing me to marathon the series. However, it's falling apart. I was thinking of rating it an 8, but recent events in the last few episodes near the end are making me think twice. Now I want to rate it a 5 or 6, but maybe it's because I don't understand it. Before I give it a poor score, I need a former watcher of LH to explain things to me.
Please do not read if you haven't watched LH or PTW it in the future. I will add more questions as I go along. I'm on Episode 23 at the moment with 2 more episodes to go. Please refrain from spoiling the ending for me, if possible. If these things will be explained in the end, please let me know.
I'll likely come up with more concerns soon, but can someone please explain those things to me? I don't want to downrate this series just b/c of a misunderstanding. Or maybe I'm right and the show is not making any sense.

*I'm seriously tired of retyping certain sections b/c of those stupid characters that keep popping up. Please excuse those.

Wait a min. THIS is the great Spice & Wolf?!
Anime Relations: Ookami to Koushinryou, Tasogare Otome x Amnesia
I would love to write a review to justify my point, but I feel like I'd rant the whole time, so I'm blogging instead. Well, Tsumayouji basically said everything for me anyway.
It's not much, and I won't write a full-blown page of why Spice & Wolf turned out to be such a disappointment. In short, this shit is overrated as f***. Rated an 8.38 as of 06/05/14, instead of a romance or explanation of the supernatural itself, I was taken through Microeconomics 101 all over again. All it was was a she-wolf (Horo) and merchant (Lawrence) traveling everywhere to either sell or buy merchandise. I was warned about excessive dialogue prior to watching this, and I didn't care. Dialogue is not an issue, but the fact that the dialogue included nothing but business arrangements, mathematics, and profits made this just plain boring! Where's the romance? Are Horo and Lawrence going to talk about anything besides the deliciousness of apples and profits? *SPOILER* Horo says wolves need power (human blood) in order to transform. Why did she suck Lawrence's blood during her first transformation but didn't need it anymore when she transformed weeks later? Oh great. Let's end the show here. There's no point in explaining anything but currency and how stupid people can't avoid their greed by taking the time to do simple mathematics.
Oh, there's a promise in things turning out much better in the sequel? No thanks. I'm not going through another 5 hours for something that's not likely to happen. Also, based upon my observation on MAL, the majority of the ppl that rated S&W below a 7 did not show a significant change in the score for the sequel. What's that telling me?
P.S. It seems like I'm having bad luck with finding a good romance these days. First, Myself ; Yourself had me drowning in despair for awhile. Spice & Wolf nearly bored me to death. Guess what I decided to go with next. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia... Haha! Yes, the first episode was really funny, but.... Lol, let me just say that I thought I would never agree with roriconfan on anything. So far, this is the impression I'm getting from watching 3 episodes. I won't dwell or rant about this too much. There's currently a 70% chance I'll review this one.
